What to expect with DermaPen™ Microneedling Treatment treatments
Patients should expect to spend about an hour in our Portland office. Administered by one of our VanderVeer Center professionals, Microneedling involves using an electronic microneedling device to deliver topical products to the deep layers of the skin while gently resurfacing the upper layers of skin. Some have compared the sensation to having a cat lick their face. Patients may have a pink tone to their skin for up to 48 hours and must keep their skin hydrated and avoid the sun post procedure. A series of 4 treatments every 2-4 weeks is recommended.
