Elizabeth VanderVeer, M.D.
is a Board Certified Internist and President/Medical Director at
VanderVeer Center. A native Oregonian, Dr. VanderVeer is a fourth
generation doctor who has dedicated her practice exclusively to
aesthetics for over 7 years and specializes in non-surgical cosmetic
medicine.
Dr. VanderVeer is a published author, and a sought after international lecturer as well as a National Trainer for numerous industry leaders such as Allergan and Medicis. Dr. VanderVeer is a luminary and lecturer for companies such as Ellipse®, Alma Lasers™ and Candela® Corporation for which she has conducted clinical studies.
She frequently appears on local and national television as a Medical Expert and Anti-Aging Contributing Editor, appearing on FOX, NBC, ABC and CBS and was recently featured in Woman's World Magazine.
Dr. Meghan Richmond
Assistant Medical Director, Naturopathic Physician, Cosmetic Injector, Medical Aesthetician
Meghan Richmond N.D is a licensed Naturopathic Physician and specializes in injections, laser treatments, Bioidentical Hormones, and Naturopathic Medicine. Originally from Alaska, Dr. Richmond graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Kinesiology and completed her training with an internship at Georgetown. From there she received her N.D from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Richmond comes to VanderVeer Center with seven years of specialized training and a true passion for helping patients. "I am excited to be at VanderVeer Center! It is an honor to be associated with a fantastic group of team members and help patients achieve their goals with little or no downtime!" Dianna Lynn Burget
Cosmetic Injection Coordinator, Medical Aesthetician, Consultant
Dianna has been at VanderVeer Center since 2009. When she moved to Oregon she was excited to hear of an opening at VanderVeer Center. Dianna is a graduate of the Lia Schorr Institute of Cosmetic Skin Care Training in New York and continues her education through attendance of THE Aesthetic Show held annually in Las Vegas as well as advanced trainings in injectables with Allergan, Medicis and Merz Pharmaceuticals.. She comes to VanderVeer Center after extensive work experience with some of the top Cosmetic Dermatologists and Plastic Surgeons in Manhattan NY. Dianna was also the Lead Aesthetician, Make up Artist and Medical Assistant at Madison Avenue Dermatology Rejuvenation, as well as a Medical Aesthetician at The Skin Spa on Madison Ave in NYC. Dianna is personally trained in advanced injection techniques by Dr. VanderVeer, and is the Cosmetic Injection Coordinator at VanderVeer Center she loves what she does and says, "I feel blessed to be working for one of the top Doctors in America."
Anna Saling
Medical Aesthetician, Cosmetic Injector
Anna’s specialty is allowing women and men to look and feel their best by providing them with the superior products and services available at VanderVeer Center. She received her Bachelor of Science in Merchandising from Oregon State University, and graduated from the Euro Institute, with a Medical Aestheticians Certification. She has been an important part at VanderVeer Center since 2009. In addition to her work at VanderVeer Center, Anna has worked with Kiehls Skin Care at Nordstrom and at BCBG in Las Vegas. She expertly performs all injectables offered at VanderVeer Center, such as BOTOX ®, Dysport ®, Juvederm ®, Restylane ®, Perlane ®, and RADIESSE ®. Anna has been personally trained in advanced injection techniques by Dr. VanderVeer, and continues to further her education in Cosmetic Medicine each year by attending THE Aesthetic Show Conference in Las Vegas.
Samantha Adams
Medical Aesthetician
Samantha has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Montana where she also enjoyed studying Anatomy and Physiology. Samantha earned her Aesthetics License from the Euro Institute and gained experience at laser facilities in both Oregon and Montana before joining VanderVeer Center. At VanderVeer Center, Sam focuses on the care and results for patients through many varied laser procedures. All of this experience has led her to the conclusion that, "Looking better on the outside can help you feel better on the inside."
Holly Fitch
Certified Medical Assistant
Holly graduated from Pioneer Pacific College with a medical assistant degree. Since 2006 Holly has been a lead laser technician and certified medical assistant before coming to VanderVeer Center. Holly’s wealth of knowledge on laser treatments has made her invaluable to the Center. She enjoys being a part of a team that is as passionate about the aesthetic industry as she is, and loves that VanderVeer Center prides itself on results and exceeding patient expectations.
Kate Shepherd
Medical Aesthetician
In addition to graduating from Portland Beauty School, Kate has had her aesthetics license for over four years, is microderm, chemical peel, and ALMA Soprano certified. With her extremely personable and always smiling demeanor, Kate is dedicated to making sure that you experience the highest caliber of personalized services and that you achieve the best results possible. With great attention to detail, Kate tailors each procedure to your specific needs and desires. Kate is dedicated to enhancing your natural beauty and she looks forward to serving you at VanderVeer Center. She continues to broaden her knowledge as she continues to attain certifications in lasers to provide our patients with an assortment of effective, versatile and personalized treatments.
Christine Sumner
Certified Aesthetic Consultant
As well as having an Associate in Applied Science degree from Portland Community College, Christine is also a Certified Aesthetic Consultant and continues to further her education in Cosmetic Medicine each year by attending THE Aesthetic Show Conference in Las Vegas. Christine’s years of experience in surgical assisting, her depth of knowledge on anti-aging procedures, and many years as a business and Aesthetic Consultant are a great complement to her current position at VanderVeer Center. She forms close working relationships with her patients to help them remain informed about their options and insures that they receive a personalized program tailored to their individual requirements. Her compassionate, caring, experienced, soft-spoken demeanor enables her to seek and understand the desired outcome of each patients customized program and insures that they achieve their goals at VanderVeer Center.
Fawn Baker
Aesthetic Consultant
Fawn graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor of Science and a minor in Applied Health. She is passionate about using all of her five-plus years of Aesthetic Consulting experience and her depth of knowledge on anti-aging procedures to help other look and feel their best. Fawn enjoys educating others on ways to protect and maintain healthy looks at any age. Using her depth of experience Fawn will give you a comprehensive evaluation of your needs and customize the best program that will optimize your treatment results. She will get you the care you deserve, the best care! Fawn takes much pride in assisting Dr. VanderVeer in her cutting edge endeavors.
Shannon Monihan
Chief of Operations Officer
With a dedicated and proven history working with professional laser technology and aesthetic medical marketing, Shannon has spearheaded several companies’ branding and product development from the ground up. She has experience managing operations, topical manufacturing and growing sales and distribution. She brings to VanderVeer Center a wealth of knowledge as it relates to specific marketing strategies and business trends with med spa for laser, toxin, and filler advance skin care treatments.
Karen Lonsway
Financial Director
Karen has been assisting VanderVeer Center in achieving their business goals since 2006. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Oregon State University with a concentration in Accounting. After spending years in "high tech" both in California and Oregon, Karen has found her niche in Aesthetics. She loves the fast paced, ever changing environment that VanderVeer Center offers. She loves not only working behind the scenes on finances, but also working directly with the staff to create a wonderful and exciting place to work. Karen loves to pick up the phone and interact with our patients because this allows her to keep a pulse on the business!
Shauna Bilicic
Director of Marketing
Shauna comes to VanderVeer Center with an extensive background in advertising and marketing. She began her career in advertising at a locally owned media group specializing in print before she moved on as a sales and promotions coordinator for two radio stations. There, she was instrumental in getting the company online. Her strengths in social media and her experiences help her excel at VanderVeer Center. Shauna is excited to be a part of the V Team and to interact with our patients both in-person and online.
Nancy Buck
Executive Assistant
Nancy was excited to join VanderVeer team in 2012 and brings with her a variety of work experiences. She has prior experience in the private and public sector as a paralegal, manager of recruitment and career services, Oregon Lottery and as a Business Analyst for Oregon Healthcare Services. Her analytical skills and focus on customer service are used to assist VanderVeer Center with organizational detail and care in an ever changing and growing work place.
Emily Rogge
Director of Inventory & File Management
Emily comes to VanderVeer Center with a very experienced background. She graduated from Oregon State University and has been in our industry for quite a few years. Emily loves working in a premier Cosmetic Medical Center and enjoys working with such an incredible group of people. Emily feels blessed to be a part of something that makes people feel better about themselves.
Debbie Parrish
Receptionist
Debbie comes to VanderVeer Center with a background that is rich in customer service. Her
career goals inspired her to round out her Bachelor of Science in
Fashion, Merchandising and Business with a certification in Aesthetics
from the A Institute. She has extensive experience in the
financial industry with Kemper Securities and Piper Jaffray, and earlier
in her career as a private shopper at Nordstrom. Debbie enjoys talking
with our patients, getting to know them and learning more about what
they are looking for. She has a true talent for assisting
them to get into the best treatment program possible in order to achieve
the optimum results they want.
Jason Marlowe
Marketing & Technical Support
Jason attended the Art Institute of Seattle for their Audio Production Program and is an incredibly hard worker, a jack-of-all-trades, and the perfect blend of computer expert and Madison Avenue marketing guru. His marketing expertise was honed through years of experience as the Marketing Director for a local retail and service company and his superlative skills helped them to become #1 in Clark County. A level-headed addition to the team, he oversees the daily marketing and information technology needs of VanderVeer Center and is an integral part of keeping the V-team functioning smoothly.
